I Want to see Your Very Cool Crosses!

Exactly. Which couldn’t be true if dad were pure Ameraucana because the offspring has a single comb. Dad would have probably been heterozygous for pea comb so was an EE.
also they said americuana...?

This girl is a D'uccle/Ameraucana - Dad is a Lavendar Amercauna and mom is a Mille Fleur D'uccle. Her female siblings are black, and male sibling looks like her. But...she is for sure a girl as she layed a pale greenish egg.
She’s beautiful! Do you have pictures of her brothers?
Are you sure dad was an Ameraucana? Your bird appears to have a single comb. If dad was a pure Ameraucana she would have a pea comb.
It looks like a modified pea comb to me.

The dark rooster is a cross with a buckeye rooster and black australorp hen. He was super people shy and none of my chickens liked him even though he was raised by a broody. Gave him away and he ended up getting killed by a predator. The last two is a cross with my buckeye rooster and a white ameraucana. Both parents have rose combs and he has a really big one. (Two pictures of same rooster)
That bottom rooster has a really interesting coloring! It looks like he has a single comb. Buckeyes and ameraucanas should have pea combs, though it seems like they also had a copy of the single comb gene.

This is Freya!

Freya is 1/3 Buff Orpington 2/3 Buff Brahma, and she was both a runt and the last hatch.

Her coloring is mystifying, since neither breed looks anything like her, but there is no chance of her being anything else.
Wow! I love the ombre part of her!
