The other great thing about the article...I never washed the eggs before incubating them because the bloom protects the embryo from bacteria (common knowledge), but I DID wash the ones we were selling to be eaten. I may print up a flyer and hand it to my "customers" (a handful of friends and family) to read...and I may just break the habit of washing my eggs.

Same here Punkinpeep, if they are dirty, either I eat them, or I hard boil them and feed them right back to the hens.
