Interesting... I'll need to try this out on my daughter... here she is a few years ago with a brussels sprout sandwich 100% of her own making.

Virgin or expeller pressed (flavorless) coconut oil? What kind of sherry do you use?

I don't like brussels sprouts but dh does, so maybe it''s worth a try.

I use Organic Extra Virgin Coconut oil (cold pressed) to cook with and I used a California Sherry. I hope you try it. Basically what I think makes the difference is chopping the sprouts then even saute them in butter and garlic if you want. The nutmeg adds a hint of exotic.
 
I look forward to it! I'll have to wait a few months, though, since the only sprouts around here are shipped from elsewhere in the world or frozen. Hope I can find this recipe later this year!
