Yes, I surely was. I had to make a deposit at the bank today and was close to Cackle Hatchery. Look what I brought home........

what a mottley assortment huh, even got three little ducklings - Wittle, Wattle, and Wootle...... Wittle is the smaller of the Pekins, and Wootle is the Khaki Campbell. My hubby is going to have to build me a new water proof brooder when he gets home, lol.

Guess I need to head over to the duck section of BYC and refresh my memory.......

Very, very bad! I'm so jealous!! Cabelas built a huge store within two miles of where DH works, it's completely unfair that there are no hatcheries in the area.

Wow!! You sure were bad!!! They are so tempting aren't they??!! I was only supposed to get 4 chicks last week and came home w/10!! I know how it is. In fact, I'm already pestering DH about a second group of chicks in a couple months...he is saying N O-NO!! Maybe I'll convince him....the ducks look like fun! Have a great time!!
