Five are still moving. They go into lockdown tonight. Yesterday I called home twice to have DH check on temps. They have been really hard to keep stable the last few days. I came home from work yesterday and the lid was off the skillet. I almost had a heartattack. I asked DH what happened and he said the temp spiked again. He took the lid off and the temp was 90 when I looked at it. He said it had only been off a few minutes. Only problem is, his few minutes are not the same as mine. I got the temps back to 100 and they've stayed stable last night. I did one last candle this morning and everyting looks good and least I think. They are all moving, but they do seem small. I can still see room--they haven't taken up all the space yet. This has been a blast, but I the next, I'm using a real bonafide bator. Tonight--it's hands-off until they hatch.

I think that only thing I would be extra careful about is the heat coming off the bottom of the skillet possibly burning little feet...... Also since you are basically doing a still air hatch your temps should be a tad closer to 101.5. It sounds like you are doing a fantastic job so far!!!

You may also need to open your lid at least once a day, even now, because you are a closed system with no way for oxygen to get in..... you must have ventilation.
