Fussy cut = when you center the design up, so the object you want is in the center. So the Rooster stripe fabric could be centered to showcase the roosters with some of the egg print used to make an even size square. I think Saddina posted a quick little quilt made of just squares that is similar to trip around the world and could be made from the rooster print, red and other chicken print. I will go see if I can find it again.
Here it is, the stripe sewing method might be tricky if you want to keep the striped chicken fabric centered well. But it still could be made my sewing individual blocks together. Here's a youtube with fussy cut details. She goes through way more work than I would, but it will give you an idea of ways to do them. I basically would just find a part of the design that works for me and mark it and cut it out.
