In one week I’ve collected 12 eggs. There are more dark eggs and a lighter brown egg. I’m guessing one isn’t RIR. Any input?

My hatchery Rhode Island hens lay slightly darker eggs! It all depends on the country and hatchery they come from, but they look like the right breed. In one week I’ve collected 12 eggs. There are more dark eggs and a lighter brown egg. I’m guessing one isn’t RIR. Any input?
I wondered because they looked like red sex link to me, but then I thought maybe they are just hatchery stock RIR.Both are red-sexlink, not RIR at all. They are RIR mix and better egg layers, but usually have lots of heath issues when they turn two year old.
So both are variations of red sex link. So that explains the difference in feather and egg colors.I wondered because they looked like red sex link to me, but then I thought maybe they are just hatchery stock RIR.
Thank you for your input. These are not my first chickens. I am so sorry that your chickens are no longer with you. I can certainly relate to missing Chickens. I miss my chickens that were murdered by two dogs a few months ago. A cousin in her 80s, was getting tired of these three hens so she gave them to me. Well they do not like the six lavender Orpingtons that I have, they refused to let them eat or drink unless I’m around, so I’m nicknamed these three hens. No, stop that, and you better be sweet. My ISA Browns laid different variations of brown eggs. They were the sweetest, but at 2 yrs they started to have issues. I miss them, enjoy them while you can! Are these your first chickens?
Rhode Island Reds have some black in their tails and maybe bits of black in other parts of their feathers, even when they are hatchery stock.I wondered because they looked like red sex link to me, but then I thought maybe they are just hatchery stock RIR.
The ISA Browns were part of my first set of 4 chickens. Now I have 15 all different breeds and sizes.Thank you for your input. These are not my first chickens.
