We wanted 2 welsummers, so we came home from the hatchery with these ladies. We knew there was a chance they might be light brown leghorns, since the chicks were all in the same box, and the lady told us she was 90% sure the ones we picked were the welsummers. Now they are starting to look different from each other, or at least to me they are. Maybe I've been staring at them too long!! The feathers on their backs look like they are starting to look different...sooooo...any guesses?? They are 3 weeks old. THANKS!!

I don't which breed they are, welsummer or leghorn, but whatever they are they look like they are both the same breed.

I think it must be the staring--I do that too! They look like the same breed to me.
