I worked at a 7-11 while going to college and my former job was in the medical field doing collections. And, that is the rudest behavior I have heard of.
If there was a problem the clerk should have simply stated, "I think I authorized someone else's gas on your pump, can you please come in while I figure it out." She should have then got her manager since she was so confused. Places like that can get very busy and poo poo happens.
Seems to me she screwed up and didn't want to take the blame. Another one of those problems with todays younger people, it's always someone else's fault.
