i was so heartbroken from losing 2 of my hens, but im enjoying my 3 new babies and Ruby

today spent time with the 3 new babies , actually hand them eating from my hand in a few hours, Dolly jumped on my back while i was sitting in a chair in the garden......im just amazed at how fast they learn and catch on to things, they are very sweet, and Ruby my only 3yr old hen is getting along with them well....she does show them shes the boss, but shes very good with them already.

It sounds like Ruby and the chicks are getting along great. I am sure Ruby is loving her new flock and that she's no longer lonely. The chicks have someone to keep them safe when your not right there as she will protect them and teach them the way of life for a chicken.
