I was wondering if my golden quial is a female or male it is 4 weeks old

Well the head is female... But the chest are male as no spots. Mine usually start crowing at that age, so if it does not crow and there is no foam at the vent, I would say it is a girl. And I apologize, I got your name wrong earlier..
What would crowing sound like and when will I be able to vent sex

I'd say it's a girl. Italians (prettty sure that's her color) can be feather sexed. Usually girls have spotted chests, which she at the moment doesn't show much of, but italians have a second way to sex them as well - females have black markings on their head, males have brown. This one has black. I could reliably sex my italians at 2-3 weeks last year, so I'd say she's old enough to be accurately sexed.
Do u still think it is a female even with the head
