I watch too much CSI

Me 2. I'm addicted.

I have found criminal minds more disturbing that CSI. When we had cable I also liked to watch the first 48 and crime 360,but I hated the cop interrogation mind games they used on people.

I love CSI Vegas. DH hates them with a passion says he can't stand the dramatic actors.
I borrow whole seasons at a time from the library so I'll watch 2-3 episodes a night! They don't freak me out to much. If I happen to be in a motel or something and see forensic files on TV about real murders now that freaks me out! CSI often has mistakes in some episodes and I love to find them

Gill Grissoms bug knowledge is some times faulty!

wait, you mean the world ISN'T full of conspiracies and horrific but remotely plausible crimes commited by evil, deeply manipulative, and clever criminal masterminds?
oh, *I* get it, you're suggesting I'm just PARANOID! but I'm on to you... you're probably saying it's "just me" to mess with my mind, aren't you...
SEE! I was right all along. we DO live in CSI land.

loved those shows. however since I swore off TV about 6 years ago, my shrink says I'm ever so much better.

ok, just kidding. CSI is one of the few shows I actually miss.

but the real no-no for me is slasher horror movies with a mind twist, things like Saw... that and anything were an alien larva slithers into your body and burst out of your chest later... those give me nightmares!

I did some work for Florida Dept of Law Enforcement a number of years ago... worked with the lab guys/investigators who caught serial killer Ted Bundy... it's pretty interesting when you get to see the real crime forensic stuff first hand.

did I mention that they kept a human hand in formaldehide in a jar right on a shelf right over my desk? yep. evidence.

and because it's actually less than 6 degrees of separation when it comes to Ted Bundy, my hubby at the time (now my ex) had a highschool friend who was murdered by Ted Bundy...

it gave me a taste for reading about serial killers and true crime/forensics. that and the Dexter series.

Funny you should ask. Yep. DW and I both suffer night terrors and it's hard to get back to sleep. Guy came to the door today selling meat and no way was I letting him in the house. Gonna get me a gun and have it in my hand when a stranger comes to the door. I get freaked a little when I go out back to close up the girls. I gotta get a bigger spot light installed. Gonna light up the whole dang woods with that thing!

Won't have to worry about tricker treaters either.
