Are you my long lost twin? Because I did the same thing. Other moms were always telling me how well behaved my girls were, and what good manners they had. Now, when we're hanging out with my nieces, who are 5 and 6, I hear them correcting their behavior just like i did with them. Yes!

Ha ha, could be. I love being told how polite my children are. I think, "Yes!! I'm doing a good job!" I don't get a paycheck, bonuses or stock options for being a stay-at-home mom, so compliments are nice.

I love the stories!

DS#1 is a near perfect child. I can count on one hand the things he has done that would be worthy of this thread.

But when, after 7 years of tying, I became pregnant with his little brother he became the biggest (and worst) liar of all time. He would lie about changing clothes, brushing his teeth, doing homework, feeding the dog, etc. He would cry all the time because he was being "replaced." Thanks you random lady at church for teasing him about it and planting that little gem in his head!

One day when I was 9 months pregnant we (husband, FIL and I) were having homemade pizza with artichoke hearts. Son decided he didn't want them after asking for them on his slice. We finished eating and told him he couldn't leave the table until he finished his slice and went into the living room to visit. Two minutes later he comes out and said he was done. I went in the kitchen and looked in the trash can to find his uneaten slice of pizza! I fished it out and made him eat it anyway. Don't worry, it was a new trash bag that only had the paper towels and paper plates from lunch in it. This wasn't the first time he hid food in the trash to keep from eating it, but it was the LAST. Hubby wanted to beat his tail feathers off and FIL (a retired pastor) wanted to pray the devil out of him. But a mad pregnant woman prevailed and solved the problem! He went to school and told the teacher I made him eat from the garbage can. Fortunately she had enough sense to tell him he probably deserved it

LOL We were at a church picnic last weekend when a little boy came and sat at our table. He had a nice plate of food; a cheeseburger, chocolate rice krispies treat, and a brownie. Within a very short time, he got up to leave, and his plate was empty. I couldn't believe this little boy (probably 4 or so) could eat that fast. Later I found he'd thrown all his food under the table.

My kids tell me and there dad how mean we are all the time they are the only kids that dont have there own computers and phones in our neighbor hood plus they have chores , If there room is not clean by Friday we throw there toys that are not put up away cause they obviously dont want them .

We had problems with my DD(12) having tantrums when she was 3 we tried the walking away and it did not work finally her dad got fed up and laid on the floor in the mall next to her and threw a tantrum to then ask her if she was embarrassed. (you should have seen the looks they got ). she never threw another tantrum.

To cute
We had one that walking away from didn't work either. So one day I told them they weren't doing the fit right that they needed to yell louder and kick their feet harder. That worked no more fits
