I hope never to work in an office again. I worked at a bank reviewing loans for about 4 years. Those were the most depressing years of my life. I want to curl up and cry just thinking about it.

Needed room for the sheep, so that got cleaned. Room for the chickens so that area is done now, pot belly pigs needed space in the barn...so there was another room. Along with the space we use for the feeder pigs...
Then all the sudden we had pregnant ewes last winter...Well out went more old cow poo and the stanchions so we could make a nursery and lambing jugs...
Little by little our barn is finally becoming clean with NEW POO.....And then once again I will be doing the shoveling all over again...

Our barn is an old 80+milking stanchion barn with many many add ons and additions built onto it...And it's all been done with a shovel, scraper and wheelbarrel as a tractor is not going to fit in there...let alone we didn't have one when it was time to clean...

All my blisters have been well earned!!!!

I gotta say, I wish I had an old barn to clean up. I'm running myself and my BF ragged trying to build new housing. While it's nice to have new, colourful buildings, old barns cannot be beat for ambiance.

We just moved here a little over a year ago. There haven't bee cows here for ions. The stuff endures! I am throwing it on the garden even though I doubt there are any nutrients left.
