I wish this cut on my leg would heal!

It was healing fine until I scratched at it. Thanks for your concern Ford. Actually sometimes I think I see my doctor more than I see my DH!

What/How are you treating your cut? My son cut his arm removing a garbage disposal from an Apartment sink. His arm wouldn't heal, come to find out he was treating it with hydrogen peroxide and keeping it covered up with bandages and triple antibiotics. I told him to stop using the hydrogen peroxide--you are only supposed to use this one time to clean the wound, otherwise it will slow the healing process. You need to keep the bandaid off at night and let it get some air. Put some triple antibiotic on the wound-a thin layer should do the trick.

If you know any old timers, see if they have any of that good old fashion Merchurachrome--Monkey's Blood. It will heal just about anything. Can't buy it anymore. Government took it off the shelves, why??? Because it works.

Hope your wound heals quickly.

Okay, let's see in the last six months I have been tested for:

diabetes
multiple sclerosis
heart failure
peripheral artery disease

Now they are sending me back to the rheumatologist, which is where I started from back in 1996!!!!!
I think it's safe to say it's just an fire ant bite that would heal if I'd just quit scratching at it.

Anyone want some doctor bills?
