I can cure that one---drop them! I dropped cellphone service a couple of years ago and never looked back. Believe me, you can live without them. C'mon! Be a rebel! Get WIRED again! LOL. Hey, why do people have to talk every minute of every day? It's nuts! They can wait till I get home to play back the msg, dang it. Take that phone out and shoot it! It's what you'd do with any other predator, right?
We got rid of the cell phone plans awhile ago. We have one prepaid tracfone for emergencies while driving, but other than that, we just wait to get home to call anyone. I'm cheap.
*holds on desperately to cellphone which logs on average 2-3K minutes a month*
I saw the title and was thinking along the lines of
Walks up right, younger specimens often walk on four.
Tend to group in large numbers.
Varies in weight, height, and size.
Males generally larger than females but all can range easily between 100-300lbs as adults.
We had lots of trouble with Verizon also so we switched to T-Mobile and have been very happy with them.
I wouldn't mind doing without cell phones either but my husbands job requires he have one and we really like my college son having one so we can stay in touch easier. None of our other children are allowed to have them until they have their drivers license.
I love not having a cell phone. I used to have one and I hated it that people could get in touch with me whenever THEY wanted. Leave a message and I'll call you when I get home! Don't be so needy!
my GD pays for ours but we only use it for emergency's, as we live in a DEAD ZONE which verizon doesn't have It just a fall back on esp since we have to go 10 miles to find a place where there is service.Every time they show that commercial on tv about Verizon doesn't have dead zones, my DH almost throws something at the tv.

I'm there with ya silkie, but my trouble is texts. My husband got me an enV for Valentine's day, and I'm sadly addicted. Our plan is for only 700 minutes, but we have unlimited texts.
We don't even have a land line. What I mean is, our hook-up point is 1084 feet from the nearest box and we just never had a line run, it's too darn expensive. Phone company will only go 500 feet, and it's $8.00 A FOOT after that.

Do the math.
Em
Well I would have to agree with you guy's ( takes phone and huddles in the corner)
I have small children and that's my excuse for having one.........
I wouldn't do well without my phone. I'm addicted to it. I call it my 1300 minute crack rock. Too much family buisness to tend to and the cell is just too helpful.
BUT!!! As Sundance said, it's those dead zones that Verizon doesn't have that drives me up the wall. Like my porch, the bottom half of the land, and the half of the living room where my favorite recliner just so happens to be. Along with the fact I can't send or receive text or pics in the extened network area(half of my entire city). I guess I'm just an angry guy with a POS phone lol. Good to know some of you feel my pain though!
