I Would Love to See Pictures of Your Set Up!

This was built by another person but I think it has all the needed basics

Yes, that hole in the floor is where the ramp is now. We were still building the coop when we took most of those pics.

Love the set up, roomy for the girls and extremely easy to clean out with the big wide doors and drop down hatch - two things I'd do different - move the ramp over to the far left side and add a lip so that I can keep the floor bedding from falling out. Will do both when I get my girls moved to their new coop. We're keeping this one to be utilized as a potential brooder or a place to put our soon-to-be "freezer" roos if and/or when we get too many in the flock.

Remuda - tell your hubby he doesn't have to build you any more coops, he can just come build one for me!

Buttercup - that is an awesome example. I love the "hallway" between the different divided coops, and that is exactly what I was picturing in my head. Although, having said that, I have seen so many varieties from other that have elements I'd like to incorporate!

Pharm Girl - i like your coop! It looks like you did an awesome job of utilizing what space you had. In fact, those of you in the city have some VERY efficient coops designed and built! Very nice!

I'm stopping to get batteries tonight so hopefully I'll be able to show you what we have. There is one pic of my smaller coop but its not the best shot since I had to use my cell phone.

i do not have anything fancy but the guy i got my first girls from had coops all over with runs and underground tunnels made out if i think 1 1/2 foot metal pipe that connected each area and he could close down each tunnel so he can control what area the chickens could go to. it was so awesome and i wish i had pictures of it all because it was so cool!

I love your set up. Do you have a place for the chickens to sleep indoors? Or do they sleep in those pens? How do they handle the winters? I would love to see more pictures.

Here is mine! Ignore the ugly shed in the background. It's the neighbors shed and needs to be token care of. This is a picture of it not finished. It has a window with a red border. Its 8 feet tall I don't know how wide.
