IA here

Laurie!!!!! I didn't know you had Cayuga's !!!!!!!!!!! Are you going to have any ducklings by swap time? If so, I want to buy 2. I've wanted some for a long time now.

If any of you Iowans, or close to MN folks are itchin for a show... or if you know someone in the area that might be interested, I found out over the weekend that St. James, MN is having an open class bird show, with a junior show as well, on April 24th! It is the only show I know of in the spring - summer months anywhere close to me.

If you'd like more info, please PM me and I'll get you the info. They will also have a sales area and outside sales as well.

I know it might be quite a drive for some of you but it may be your last opportuntiy to move your excess stock, or maybe to pickup some new lines!

It is the typical $2.50, for singles crates etc. All proceeds are going to buy new cages for their County 4-H shows.

This would be a great oppurtunity for Chubby Bubby to come North???? Whatcha think Stephanie?

Well, I'd love to meet you! I'm currently taking egg orders. The Wellies are the most popular and someone already has dibs on that batch before the swap. If you would like to order, just pm me.

Who is the guy north of Waverly that sells chickens? email?

you don't want his birds... they usually are hatchery rescues/spent breeders and culls from other places. I have gotten birds in the past from him and have never been able to keep them alive for more than a few months in isolation and even less with the rest of the flock. The last few I got from him looked good, but their beaks were so severely clipped they starved to death free ranging and eating out of long feeders.

Hi all!

I'm not happy with the stock that my Cochins are producing, so I've decided to sell the whole shebang. 1 blue Roo, 2 each of Black, Blue, Splash for $150. All 1 year old birds. I'll happily send you pictures, any other questions, just let me know. I can meet you at a swap that I will be attending if you pay a deposit of $25 via paypal.

ETA: My neighbor just spoke up and is buying them after my last egg orders are filled. I can still get eggs for $1 each if anyone is interested.

I'll have to look for ya then. I could use a Cayuga drake. Maybe some ducklings as well. We'll have to see. Right now I have 4 lonely hen ducks without a drake except for my Scovie drake. So at the moment all they can produce are mules.
