mil and i went last fall took oldest boy came home with 12 chickens 2 ducks and a rabbit. it was fun even if you don't plan on buying anything. this time my hubby is coming with he's afraid if mil and i go alone we'll end up with 50 chickens and a goat (which i almost bought last fall).
you should go if you haven't been.

Does anyone have an idea how late the sale should last? Just trying to plan when I can get down to my parents house to collect some tadpoles this weekend. Need to get the taxes and housework done today. Oh yay for me - I know you are all jealous!

SWEET! Now I am getting really excited! I know I will be lucky to break even but it should be a fun learning experience and learning new things is invaluable!

Eric, your stuff should be fine. We're coming in the middle of the night to set up, decided not to go tonight since most of mine and my friend's chicks are already sold. If I happen to be in the blue building, I can try to help keep an eye on your things. I doubt anyone will mess with it though. You never know though. I'm blond, have shoulder length straight hair and wear glasses. I drive a green mini van and will be parked next to a big black chevy with a trailer full of bottle baby goats. Look for me!

I'm almost finished loading my van, then I'm going to go help my friends get loaded. I'll be sleeping on their couch tonight so I don't wake my husband up. He's staying home to do chores.

I might take you up on that, Eric! It would be nice to get the chicks we have under a heat lamp. We can bring a drop cord and a heat lamp. I can bring an extra if you need one, just let me know! I have plenty! I'm thinking we will be there between 2-4am.
