Here's another one of everyone enjoying a February day in the sun. They love to be let out in the hay field

From left to right, my paints Kestrel and Fox, then Percheron mare, Raven and her 1/2 Freisian daughter Aria on the far right.

They are just beautiful and look like they are really enjoying themselves! I definitely need to come visit...

So anywho just went down to visit my dad. His legs are swollen beyond belief and they don't know what is causing it. There are no blood clots (first thing they checked for)

I popped my head in his room and he woke up said "Oh good you're here to take over for me!" then went back to sleep. He still has his sense of humor anyway

I think I need to bring a puppy or Tucker down to visit him. Tucker is becoming very calm, patient, thoughtful and centered. I actually think as long as there are no chickens nearby he could be a good therapy dog.

They said he could have a dog visitor - my mom was thinking about bringing their dog up but has changed her mind so she asked about it.

Those are great pics everyone! Wow!

Blu looks like a big handsome fella and the horse on it's hind legs Kari... Thats a great pic!

I've been getting pics of FL downloaded from memory cards today. Gives me a headache.

Thanks! Aria's a big show off. She has always been very athletic and "light on her front end" so this was easy to teach her to do on command.

Last night, Jerrit was giving all the other hens water, and one wandered into the Iowa blue pen...Mr. Iowa blue mated a Buff Brahma hen...

Wonder if her eggs would be fertile? LOL I wouldn't know what hen it was now though anyway.
