Does the smell of skunk ever go away? I had a nasty encounter last night outside the feedroom in my big barn and it just smells horrible in there. Fortunately I didn't take the hit myself. I knew I had invadors, but I had no idea how bad. I wasn't having any luck with the trap (catching nothing but cats)so I went out about 10 last night and found two skunks and 3 raccoons. It's amazing how well they all get along

Yes, Matt Kuecker got out of doing LF Cochins. When I bought them, so many people at the Waverly swap came up wanting to buy them from me. I ended up hiding them in between the trailer and the truck to keep people away from them.

Trish - it was all in the feet. The two BCM "type" chicks are IDENTICAL until you notice that one has yellow on the bottom of his tootsies!

He was a big boy. Glad to hear he produced some nice chicks. I got out of the LF cochins and am just raising bantam cochins now. The LF were fun to work with though.
