I went to the fall auction on Saturday and I think that's when most of the poultry and exotics were sold. I think it was goats and sheep on Friday? I don't see anything specific on the website this time though.

Are your birds tested? You also need to provide a cage that will go with the birds at the sale. No cardboard boxes. Here is the salebarn #. 319-656-2222 You can drop your birds off to sell now.

Their previous website had a lot more info on there for regulations, etc.

i got asked about pullets or hens for sale today if i had or knew anybody that had a dozen or so for sale.
I'm really thinking of stocking u on chicks this fall for pullets in the spring.
worse case i have a bunch of layers or a bunch of roasters. yes i spelled that right.

Not sure if I got the job. I guess it was more like a "pre-interview". Jerrit's parents, or mom said more what to do, but his dad did work there a few years ago and after we got back said something about having to do a lot of "interviews"...would have been nice if he remembered or said that earlier.

I had to answer 6 questions relating to my own experiences, and the questions were more geared towards someone who has worked before...and I haven't so I just had to say I don't know to like 3 of the questions.
