IA here

Tira;
When folks who are supposed top be working for you, being paid by you, act that way. It is my firm belief they will in 2 months be at another job, doing the same usless task as before. That person did nothing to hjelp jerit, only himself. Its greed and selfishness and wrong. And has made my point in a previous post. Over educated numbskulls that excersize no common sense. They are supposed to act as professionals and counsel, not condenm.

On a lighter note...
I have forgotten, do I need to register in advance for the Waverly swap? Looks like it could be rainy so I want to make sure I get set up inside the night before. Nothing worse than a wet chicken to turn people off!

Still debating about going to Waverly - the cost of gas for us will be ridiculous.

The tiny Ia Blue pullet isn't going to make it through the day. I found her in the coop barely alive this morning. She was one of the ones that was sick this winter, got over whatever they had but quit growing. She still doesn't exhibit any symptoms except for the last two days she has been just real mellow. I held her for awhile and then layed her out in the sun in her favorite dust bath.

Sigh...

The rain in forecast sucks but it's a family outing more than anything. Kids swap weekends to go. So rain or shine in the gas guzzling van we go. Steph if u really want to go we leave at 5 am.

We are leaving here after school on Fri. Staying Friday night, leaving Sunday morning.
It will take probably 3 1/2 hrs. to there. Will try and get table set up inside after we check in. Will leave birds inside the bldg. under table if it's reasonably warm, will leave chicks to, if bringing any. I will have roosters to give away if anyone is interested in bantams. Would still make excellent showbirds too! Will have a pr. of bantam Sussex and maybe a pr. of delaware bantams too. And peobably be bringing some oddball chicks.

Most of Waverly is outside, isn't it? I don't know if you can get inside space for full size birds. I believe, though I could be wrong, that inside is just for cage birds and chicks.

Right, most of the Waverly swap is out doors. Inside is for caged birds, rodents, chicks and young game fowl. As well as other vendors. Smith Supply usually sets up there, they are a great vendor for leg bands, bird meds, feeders, etc. There are also some flea market type vendors that sell crafts, etc.

Just talked to the hubby and we are definately not going. He doesn't want to spend the money on gas plus the chance of rain. He would rather go to the next auction in Osceola on the 16th. One of his biggest concerns lately is the passing of the federal budget - if it doesn't pass he gets laid off until it does

It puts him on edge and makes him tight with the money

ETA: It is official - we are going to the Stuart Sale Barn instead. A lot closer and I might even make some money...
