I will try, soon!

Does anyone have enough IA Blue eggs to be able to sell me some yet? I may have someone interested in the project.

Trish, it's nice the neighbors are peeking over the fence and watching! I was referring to WI, not the poor girl in the fence.

All the birds went out today. I finally got the stupid lid off that hutch and put the b-cups out and one layed an egg, and one of the egg layers layed one too.
It's funny how they were out for several hours today, I did throw a bit of feed in with them so they could have something more to peck at (not like the grass here isn't already growing well, but I just love how after we put them in and feed them they act like they haven't been fed all day.

I got the new Iowa Blues from jakobvanschagen in Illinois. They are quite nice - the roosters have very good color and most of the hens do too. I will need to cull a few more of the dark headed ones out I think. This time I'm going to leave the majority free range and lock up the specific ones I want to hatch eggs from instead of the other way around. I heard one of my neighbors shot a dog hastling his calves. Hopefully it was the one that murdered my flock and I won't have any more visits

Okay now, I e-mailed the link on Jacob's post and I got a message back, but the name on the e-bay was Jake Scroggins and that was the name on the return on the box, now is that one and the same or are these two different people? Schroeder, you might be able to help me out there, did your eggs come packed in woodshavings from Jake Scroggins, or did you actually get from jakobvanschagen?
