Rooster swap? Maybe yes.

I have chicks that are 3 weeks and 2 weeks old. I will have to post pictures. The rooster is a fairly good show animal the hens have never been shown but no DQs. They are just BBR type.

Will post pics later.

Wren, would you want to trade some Americauna's for 13 Partridge Rocks? From what I can tell, there are 3 or 4 roos, the rest are pullets. 4 weeks old and almost all the way feathered out.

Hey everyone. I keep seeing the weather report for Sunday I really hope it doesn't rain. If it is not too cold I am going to bring 12 baby chicks. I discovered yesterday that my incubator wasn't warm enough so they took longer to hatch. I think I figured out how to reset it(it was preset at the factory).

I just got an email from Holderreads. I should get my shetland goslings this month. Plus I'm picking up my appleyards over Easter weekend. Spring is a great time of year.

I also hope it doesn't rain. I am getting some excited. Except for the part that I have to wake up so early to make sure we get a good spot to set up at. I need to go search for a few more non-live items to sale. I am bringing some young chicks with me to sale and have eggs and some birds reserved for purchase already

I can't wait!

I'm going no matter what. Unless all the ewes decide to start lambing that morning but they aren't due for a few more weeks. I just won't bring the youngest chicks if it will be too cold for them. I am planning to get there early enough we can get a space under the pavillion. I will have some young dairy goats to sale and my non-live stuff at least.

I'm going unless the roads are bad. It's supposed to be in the 50's in Burlington. I'm bringing chicks, I will just keep them warm by bringing hot water in a thermos and putting warm water bottles in with them.

Between Wyanluv and myself, there will be lots of birds for sale. Plus I'll have tack and a nice, newer aquarium set up if I have room. I'll be with The Rodent Guy, he should have plants and hamsters. Maybe a Chinchilla or two.

I'm new into the madness, though I've always loved chickens!
I live near Story City and I was wondering if there are any swaps around here?

I would really like to have some Sumatra chickens. Anyone have any they'd part with?

I have 2 BO, 2 BR that are three weeks old, and I already adore them. On Tuesday I got a batch of 11 rare breed mix and 7 clean legged bantie mix from Cackle.

I think I might have some Exchequer Leghorns and some German Spitzhaubens according to the way the chicks look. I ordered straight run so I have no idea how many roos I have. I only would like to keep two roos, so if I have more than two I'd like to find new homes for the extras.

I'll post again once I figure out what breeds I do have! Should be fun.

Welcome to BYC, Vadgo!

The only swap I really know about is Burlington. I know there is also a swap in Waverly but I have never been to that one. Hopefully somebody more familiar with the swaps can let you know if there are any swaps near you.
