No, I won't sorry. Between myself and Wyanluv, we'll have hatching eggs for SLW,GLW. 13 Partridge Rock chicks (3 cockerels, 10 pullets). 2 EE pullets(GL), 1 Blue Cochin Cockerel, Blue Jersey Giants, Trio of SLW, 5 mutt pullets/cockerels. Plus I'll have horse tack, an aquarium complete setup, and more.

I just saw the weather forecast. In my area, they are expecting white out conditions. I planned on going even if the weather was bad, but I don't know if it's going to be worth the risk of driving in those conditions. I planned on meeting other BYCer's there, may be making other arrangements.

Sometimes it's hard to be from Iowa....

I was done with snow. Started the garden tilling, working on the new coop, free-ranging my little silkies... now that will go on hold for a week. To those of you in the worst part of the storm, drive carefully to the swap if you go. I'll have to go back in these posts and find out when there's another Iowa swap. I'd like to attend at least one this summer/fall.

I'm not sure if I'm going now either. We are at my parents and have seen the weather forecast. We want to be able to get back home. I was bringing some eggs for some BYCers. I guess we will see what the weather is like in the morning.

The Maquoketa swap is 4/18 and Waverly is 4/19. Hope to see you at one of them. My avatar is my farm logo and I will have it posted at my set up so I should be easy to spot at any swap I go to.

We might not go either. I was so excited. Oh well. There's next month I guess. Looks like they are calling for up to one inch of snow in Burlington now even and yesterday it looked like it would still be nice in Burlington even if it wasn't so nice here.

As much as I'd like to come and meet someone, I think I have to wait if no one will have the chicks I want. Especially if the weather is going to be so bad.

Are you still going to have Ameraucana at some point or did they not work out at all?

Are you planning to be at the swap in May, or any later ones?

Thistle Creek, I was planning on purchasing some more Americauna's but didn't want to part with what I have at the moment. I had contemplated taking some of my EE chix, but am now attached.

I'm planning on being at the May swap. I'll be posting the chix on craigslist that I was going to sell and put the eggs that I was going to the swap with in the incubator this afternoon. They are saying that up north of me may get a foot of snow, yowsa.

Looks like Winter is going out like a Lion!

I am tired of Iowa weather, too! YUCK! Chores suck in the howling wind and snow!

I have baby chicks, geese and ducks if anyone is interested. I have some little Saxony ducklings, Sebastopol goslings, Black Copper chicks, and Muscovy ducklings. Just email me if you want to come out after the storm and pick something up!

Stay warm!!

Is anyone bringing any adult, baby or hatching eggs for royal palm turkeys to either Maquoketa or Waverly sales? Please let me know, Thank you!
