Sweet, have any you would like to part with for a price? Or possible trade? I LOVE wheeling and dealing!

I'm pretty attached to my adults. (I only have 3 hens and a drake) But I am planning to sale the ducklings as long as they hatch.

That's ok. I guess I should have said I will have ducklings for sale. Just don't want to count them before they hatch.

FYI - I have mallard eggs and 18 "unknown" pure eggs. I know that sounds odd, but DS#2 bought 2 pure goose and 18 pure duck about 10 days ago at auction. Hubby was with him and said "Heck, I don't know what they were, but the auctioneer said 'pure'."
So, although DS#2 would love 18 new ducklings, if they all hatch, I'll need to get rid of some.

Hubby thought they were "spotted" black with white background but I think those were the goose.

Anyway, let you know what I have with pics if the hatch is successful.

For those of you who saw our bantam Vorwerk pullet in IA City last fall and are interested, I have a dozen hatching eggs for sale!
If you're interested, pm me.

I went to the Centerville Exotic & Bird Sale. I couldn't stay to watch the birds sell, but they had a nice turnout. Lots of Red Stars. They must be really popular here.

2 boys, 1 horse, 1 mule, 19 hens, 4 roosters, 130+ 2 week old chicks. Good thing I didn't stay long, the coop is full!! I just ordered from Cackle too, I am out of control:p

So who all is going to Maquoketa? We are

I am taking some of my baby chicks to sale. My Scovies aren't due to hatch until Monday after the swap so I won't have any to bring with me to Maquoketa. The only thing I am not looking forward to is waking up so early in the morning to drive up there. oh well. I'm not the driver so I can sleep on the way there hopefully.
