Someone mentioned ducks. I have ducks. Want some? We do have some muscovy mixes but they will be sterile.

Baby chick pictures. NO no no no. lol Maybe I should post mine. I think I might have finally hatched out a blue mottled cochin. My husband just doesn't understand why I am so excited over all the blue chicks I have hatched lately.

Burlington Swap meet is coming up soon. Who is going? I might have to go to just cut back.

Would LOVE some ducks...but no $$$ right now to buy them...and I am still learning about chickens...I have no clue how to raise a duck...yet.

Did anybody see the news on TV tonight? Lady has a duck has adopted the dog as mate cause his died. Sooo cute.
 
that's just what I need, to be a duck's other half... it was bad enough last year I had a tom turkey that thought it was a dog and got irritated when people would pet the dog or the cat and not him... he was a big white bird, I don 't think I would have petted him either if he wasn't mine...

well i wish i could keep more chicks too but im kinda in city limits. well its the last house in town... so its kind of a grey zone i gues :-)))

There is a swap in Walker, IA next Sunday. It starts at 8 am at the Walker Sale barn. That's where I got my Pekins. My neighbors have Muskovies for sale, and possibly some little, white Call's. Send me a PM if you want some.
