I will be staying Thurs. and Fri. night. I don't feel like driving early in the morning nor do I like to drive after dark! I'm pretty picky about that.

Have you registered yet? It is a limited size class. You need to have your check and application in by the 26th. They do not cash the check til after the class to ensure you are there.The Iowa Poultry Assn. does not know when they will have their class, at least they didn't notify me like they said they would. So, I jumped at the opportunity to take this course.

I think I am the only one in Des Moines proper, but ChooksinIowa might have some. I don't think she ever logs on here anymore though. Also try PMing Chickbond007. She comes close to Des MOines. I can ask ChooksinIowa - I am taking her some chicks and baby roos soon.

I just got back from a commercial shoot at KCRG, TV 9 news station in Cedar Rapids. They needed some chicks to be in a Hills Bank commercial they were shooting. Look for the commercial! You can also see them on KCRG's facebook page when they get posted. It was lots of fun!
