Yes but it is a new pod. I moved her inside due to an impending thunderboomer the other day.
Three of her 9 (found one more) eggs were bombs and I think the rest are headed that way. The boat was very damp. I have a couple of olive eggs to stick under her now instead.
ETA: I still have your mail too - I am terrible about mailing things
I know you still have it and I am very intrigued as to what it is! Please send airmail!
Have hatched out 2 so far this am, two Buckeye and 2 Buttercups. last one was a little fat Buckeye kinda reminds me of the fat guy on Laurel and Hardy but no bowler hat!
Curious about something....Yesterday we went and picked up another batch of Cornish X from a small hatchery close to us. When we were there I asked them if they had any live chickens, they said they couldn't have live chickens there where they hatch at. So how do the big hatcheries like McMurray, Hoover etc. do it?

It could be the type of permit or licensure they operate under. McMurray for example, drop ships all their bantams as does Welp. In fact, most bantams come out of TX, AZ, NM, where it's warmer. If I am wrong, please someone correct me!
Sad news. I will not be getting any Lamona. At least not this year. The guy who had the stock said he had them at some fair along with another breed that I could not understand what he was saying, and some kid was taking care of them for him and did not properly close the cages and they all got away but one pullet...... He said he'd had a run of bad luck but would send me eggs from his breeding stock in Feb. He also goes in for triple bypass surgery tomorrow.
I wish him health and I am really bummed.
I have a freind who needs to find a home for 3 ducks. I ask her what kind of ducks so that I could let all of you know.... She said pretty ones!!! They were raised for 4 h and sold after the fair. My friend is afraid her dog will kill them. They are near greenfield. lisa
Sorry - my dad was in the hospital this week. He has been battling bladder/kidney cancer for years but has been realitivly healthy the last couple of years. They found blood in his urine again and did a byopsy 2 weeks ago. Then his remaining kidney stopped draining. The Dr. measures something called creatinines and the normal range for this chemical in your body is 1-2 (average 1.8). My dads was 12 meaning his kidney was on the verge of total shut down. The nurse commented that the highest they had seen creatinines without shut down before was a 9.
