I will! 10, I hope if there is still enough. How big will their transport container need to be at that age?

Oh my goodness there will be plenty of Ostrich er.. Emu err.. Iowa Blues! I knew someone wanted ten, and I found my black book but, have not opened it. Just got show reg. sent in to Lincoln, almost forgot! It had to be post marked today.
Blues are doing well. they are so much messier than bantams, I am not used to LF, got to clean their stinky pen every day! They are eating me out of feed and water! But they are calming down, not as flighty and they are not under a lamp or have any heat just their own and they are doing fine. They come up and gently peck my fingers when I am in their pen, begging of course! I gave them some fresh chopped leaves and grass yesterday for bedding. It was like watching kids in a leaf pile... after they got unaskeered.

Just got back from picking up and bedding down some Silkies we ordered from Karen Larsen, Catdance Silkies. These are stunning birds!!!

I'm sure they are much prettier than the two silkie "juveniles" my husband bought me at the auction. I told him to get them if they went cheap, because they were definately pet quality. He bought them for way too much and after closer inspection (the cage they were in was kind of hard to see much in) we might have to pet quality splash roos. ARGGGG. Next time I am taking duct tape and taping his bidding arm to his side. He is worried there is not enough body heat in our coop for winter.

I'm not even sure they are young. They have some wicked long nails but they are super tiny.

We need pictures of your pretty silkies.

Ok since it is sooooo nice out today and I had a few minutes. I took the biggest Iowa Blue out in the grass and got his picture (wattles are now definately turning red) See what you think about him. It was hard to get his picture - he was moving pretty fast.
