IA here

We are gonna have lots of IA Blues left so anyone that wants more, (remember they are mostly black) they are available! One more person wants ten and that probably leaves another ten as well since one person backed out. So, Lisa and Lilandra step up and say yes! That way I can bring them all to IA City and not bring any home! They are not under any heat at all.
So, whatcha think?

Steph, I had to stop looking at the pics of P. She looks so much like her mother!

Tell Lora I'm sorry, but that *IS* funny!!! Although I understand the anger part. If someone scares me really bad like that I get mad too....

(just ask my hubby)

Ahhh she does look a lot like her momma only P has more brown to her. She is very good with the chicks although they are going to outgrow her very fast. They still might end up back inside if she can't cover them in the cold. Sending you a private message.

Hi lilandra I wish I had some that you could have. I do have one black baby chick If you would want it I do not know if it is a girl or a boy yet. It is the only IA blue that I have left. the other 5 died, when our lights went out while I was gone. This one just barely lived. I had to revive it so now it lives in the kitchen with me.
I know how you feel I lost most of my chickens last spring to a stray dog.
At least you did not give up. Good for you! Lisa

that is awfully sweet of you to offer, but I think I am going to have Trish set some eggs for me in the spring when she starts filling orders - need to talk to her about that

What kind of rabbit are you looking for? I have some satin crosses that are friendly. Mommy rabbit is a red Siamese satin and daddy rabbit is a red satin angora but the babies are short soft and shinny haired red Siamese satins. They are very stout built and would make good meat rabbits. Let me know if you want to see pictures.

Yes I would love to have one. How old are they? And how much do you want? And were are you? Not in ten buck two like Erick are you....hahaha Lisa

Thank you so much, but I am going to wait awhile. We are going to make a back up electric for the hen house, brooder and bator. We loose electric alot here at least once a week. I do not know why. The house next door between me and town has city electric. They have no problems, and it is cheaper. We have begged for city electric but we can not have it. We are in a deferent zone bla bla bla.
If any of you have Ideas on solar panels let me know. My hubby wants to make some for the hen house. Thanks Lisa

Hi everyone! Been back in Iowa for about 2 weeks now and glad the weather has been pretty nice while here.
I might be able to go back on the order of Ia blues, Eric, but I will have to wait a week and see what Jerrit and I are going to do. So I will let you know in about a week.

Jerrit entered a contest and anyone that can help vote is greatly appreciated

you can vote once a day and it ends on the 5th. http://apps.facebook.com/contestshq...ble_entries/10015572?ogn=facebook&order=votes Thanks!

I feel a little stupid asking this but... what happens at the Iowa City Poultry Show?
I saw the webpage and it looked like there will be some judging going on. But
will there also be poultry for sale? Kinda sounds like fun, but I'm not sure what to
expect!
