iowachks - Roads were not to bad when i went to town around noon. and Happy New Year to ALL ???

pbj - Osceola, where the small animal sale was, i had the black and white springer at the sale. The Black Coppers maran chicks are hatched from eggs i ordered from Flashpoint, and if, (i could be so lucky to have a rooster in the bunch!!!!), i would be interested in rehoming him or them . I also have what appears to be 3 Cuckoo Maran rooster in the 25 cuckoo chicks i ordered from Welp hatchery last November.

Have a happy new year. For some reason my emails of new posts quit working so I didn't think there were any new posts on this thread. All the poultry are out and about having a blast today. They think it is spring. The Muscovies were checking out places to start nesting. Boy will they be in for a big surprise tonight when the temps. really drop. A few pullets are starting to lay eggs. Boy I am sure tired. Spent the afternoon scooping out as much of horse manure as possible from the horse pen some of it is still frozen solid even with the 50 degree temps we had today. Cleaned the goat pens out as well and also the nesting boxes.

Trish - remember the white EE pullet I hatched out in May? She FINALLY gave me an egg today

She is so funny - if I just point my finger at her she squats. I am the ultimate rooster!

We're home early from a friend's house.

So far this past 3 days, we've had 37 doelings and 3 bucklings born!

3 or 4 more does should go tonight.

baby goats are the best till something goes wrong my belted buckling has a hernia and i'm trying to figure out what to do. ok i know what i should do but i'm trying to find a way around that. so baby pics so we can awwww.
