IA. jake :

I have 2 silkies comming from Florida that were shipped yesterday. My question is should I give them any special treatment for the temp change? I will give them electrolites/vitemans but 40 in the coop should be good enough? They are 2 lucky boys, I have 8 hen/pullets waiting for these guys. They have been roo free for a few weeks now. I will put up some pics when they come.

You might want to have a heat lamp available to see if they migrate toward it or, keep them in the basement at night. Uh if you need some roosters... look no further. I deliver

Not that it's bad but I don't need 2 of them and you don't either.

I know that lol, we got a call this morning from jerrit's mom saying someone called the farm asking about the buttercups. Jerrit tried to call twice now but no one answered, so he left a message.

Is it the same person as before? Im not sure, the last person i think was from ohio too. But they were mostly interested in trading some birds at a show, but we can't go to any shows out of state.

Agh forgot im on jerrit's account!

If you're going to toss it anyway, try leaving it out exposed to the weather for a few months, then bleach it good before you use it again. It should kill anything hanging on.

Honestly you wouldn't want either one of them, They are both pretty wild and crusty looking. I inherited them with the barn. I have some lovely 5 month old kittens though. red/white and grey. Also grey, tabby, whit/grey about a year old vaccinated and spayed/neutered.
