IA here

i'm so excited its my 1st hatch can you tell. we have 2 little black chicks out and a green egg a rocken. found out the Mason while he was watching picked the eggs up and looked at them. noticed it when i looked in and they were all in dif places. sigh. but 1 is the green egg so i'm hoping he at least got them in right side up.

babies in the sun still yet to be named.

karimw Good luck with the ia blue eggs! Both that we tried weren't fertile. Have about 3-4 collected already now though..so we will try again.

I saw one of them sitting in the "nest" it made in the shavings

I figured it was the one with the biggest comb, but you never know.

It was so nice out today, but sadly the chickens didn't get to go out, well a few did, but I could really only carry two out and I had to watch them. I did want to put the buttercups out, since the hutch is kind of like a mini run and I wouldnt have to really keep an eye on them because they are contained, but the stupid lid makes it hard to move.

Oh and out of almost a dozen b-cup eggs, only 4 have developed, think on day 10 now?
