Hi everyone. It's been a while since I checked in here. I'm not getting notices when there are posts on here like I used to. I see some new names! Hopefully we can all meet sometime, maybe at a swap. Eric, did you ever get a hold of Jim Heinz? He was over here the other day picking up my flock of Cuckoo Marans. Texting him seems to be a good way to get a hold of him.

For those of you that aren't friends with me on FB, the breeds I dispersed were sold in pretty much one weekend. It was crazy and bittersweet. A lot of breeds were hard to get rid of, but I had to draw the line somewhere. I'll miss a lot of those breeds.

I left the hatchery, in case you all didn't know. I'm concentrating on my show birds, Buckeyes, Welsummers, Ameraucana and SC and RC RIR... all large fowl. I'm planning attending a show with a friend and my cousin in MO at the end of April. I'll be culling some hens soon, but may be hanging on to them for eating eggs.

I hatched out a few chicks today and shipped 3 boxes of them. The rest will be picked up over the weekend, except for a small few.

If anyone is interested in chicks in the breeds I have, let me know. I can ship smaller orders too, with a box fee and heat pack.

Yesterday I lost the Columbian pullet I hatched and raised that was BOV at (Crossroads) (Cochin International Eastern National) (Cochin International Western National). I hope I raise another one that good. I am still hatching eggs from her mother.
