My roo is kinda mean to my hen she has 8eggs already i was wondering how long she will stay fertile after i take him out

! A hen can stay fertile up to 3 weeks after the removal of a rooster.

Do you know your hen will continue to lay eggs without the rooster period!! They will be non-fertile eggs however, and will not hatch into chicks. It's not good to have a mean rooster, his chicks may be mean like him.

That was a new, and interesting, question to me.
Never gave it any thought before. So I had to look it up.

And Pyxis gave you a pretty solid answer.

Actually it looks like it can very a few days either way
depending on the breed. But three weeks, give or take
a few days either way.

Oddly enough, it looks like ducks can go a little longer.
