IBW 4 jeaucamom..UPDATE.... A CHICK..pics added!!!

Okay, so they have been in the hatcher for 7 hours. I have moved my computer to the kitchen table that the three incubators are on. All I do is stare at them.

When is it reasonable to get a pip?? Or hear a peep??

Temps are good, hyper monitoring for humidity (staying between 65 and 70) I have a syringe poised in a hole in the bator above a rag so can add warm water at the drop of a hat.

When?? When??? When????

Now I am obssessed with.... Did I move them too soon???? I did it at the start of day 18, and of course read AFTER they were moved that I should have waited until the end of day 18. Did I kill them???

Don't worry...I'm on day 22 and everyone says to wait till day 25...I haven't had ANYTHING...No peep, pip, nada!!

Don't sweat it, Suz. I have moved eggs at the end of Day 17 before and had a great hatch. Anytime on Day 18 is perfectly fine so it isn't an exact thing. Sometimes you will hear nothing and see nothing till that very first pip.

WHEW!!! (wiping sweat off brow smilie!!) Thanks Cyn, that takes a load off my mind!

Okay....check... one less thing to obssess over.

Now, if I could figure out a way to monitor temp and humidity in my sleep I would be totally good to go LOL!!

YAY!!!! Houston, we have a pip! Jess went over to the bator and thought she saw an egg rocking. Then she went to the other side to get a better look and there was a pip!!!
