IBW 4 jeaucamom..UPDATE.... A CHICK..pics added!!!

Now that I'm a seasoned hatcher...cough cough cough...

I'm loving this. It's just so exciting to see that first pip, then you look at each one carefully, and Wow, there's another one it's as big as a mountain, how'd I miss that.

Okay, I couldn't stand it... to keep myself from going bonkers over the ONE pip that is not moving or doing anything in with the 12 others that are not moving or doing anything... I candled my EE and my BLRW

8 of 10 EE are doing fine. The other two look just a day or two behind the others.

BLRW!!! YEAH!! Two that I thought were bad are developing fine so I have 7 total.

Cyn, all your are doing great, but we did take the one weeping one out and it was not developing.

But all the rest are doing great.

Now, if little pipper with the feathers sticking out would wake up, I could use up some of this adrenaline!!

Don't you just want to scream "GET ON WITH IT ALREADY!!"?

Did you get yourself some finger snack foods and a comfy chair? You'll be there awhile you know

Suz, I wish Caroline's had developed, but I think for some reason, she's stressed. She still hasnt laid an egg unless those couple of soft shelled ones I found broken in the nest were hers. If they were, then I'd say that one was probably just too porous. Usually, I candle a portion of the eggs I send, but since that was the only one I was able to collect of Caroline's all week, I don't think I did candle it. Wish I had, though. I am glad you took it out. Seems like the others are doing well, though! Congrats! I want Jess to have some little Ameraucana babies from my girls.

Dang kids.. they want dinner... and I want to sit and stare at an egg that is doing absolutely nothing!! Don't suppose one of you wants to come cook for me??? LOL

HELP!! We CAN NOT get the humidity above the low 60s, as in like 61 %. Most of the problem is the 9200 that we are using as a hatcher has holes in the bottom and some of the water keeps leaking out!! :thun All of the troughs are filled, and we even have a wet rag that we keep on wetting!!! What do we do??

Leave it..I'd say with all that water the hygrometer is not reading correctly.
