Instead of creating a bunch of different threads I just post it all in one lol
first thing, I go out to the Coop today to check on the water. and there is Zeke walking with a huge chunk of ice stuck to his belly, I had to put warm water on my hand to get it off, thing was stuck on there good
second. I sometimes sit on a milk crate in the coop, it's nice to just sit there and have conversations with them, they don't judge me ha.
So the newest thing, as soon as I sit down all 4 of my ducks come running over and just start chatting away to me like they are either tattling on each other or telling me about their day.
Zeke's new thing is to run fast and boop my chicken in the butt. weirdo. not attacking her just boop
Zeke and Louie still have their tiff's I have separated them and will let them be together as long as I am near and they have mellowed a lot now and then there is about a few seconds of pushing and shoving.. Sally my NH RED hen, thinks it's her job to jump on top of them and try to break it up. so I am out there one day just trying to separate all of them. If I pick up Louie to take him away from Zeke, Zeke will grab my leg really quick like hey give him back I wasn't done.
and lastly.. where the heck is spring the last 2 days here has been the coldest all season. my heated water bowls even froze up..
