The mud or the comb?

Alright, I had a really good smart aleck response, but can't say it.

The chickens silly, not the mud.

We all have mud at some point.

OK, I'll admit it, I'm a big baby.

I don't do stress well.

I did get about 15 minutes of sleep.
Then the pain woke me up. When I take the percocet, I chew one up and swallow the other one.

I took some crackers and cereal with them as to not upset my stomach.

But I blew violent chunks up anyway with the pills.

So I carefully just do water and suffer.

Shortly after I got home DW had to take off for up north to pick up son#3 and bring him home.

She hit an elk about an hour south of Panguitch, Utah. She's OK but obviously the Pilot is not.
But it can be driven.

And needless to say, I'm very swollen and my kids are not the best caregivers.

OK, like I said, I'm a big baby. and the drugs aren't doing any good, but I'm loopy.

Ibuprofen or Mobic or some kind of anti-inflamatory for the swelling, Dar. Maybe that would give some relief. If the Percocet isn't working, call and get something else. Heck, in this day and age, no one should have to suffer post-op pain. Some meds just don't work for some people. That's why there are so many different ones.

Hope this passes quickly.

So sorry to hear about your wife! Oh my gosh! Thank God she is okay.

Mahonri maybe Mary will let you have her vicodin. Honestly tho, doctors know they need to provide pain relief so the patient can heal. Tell your doc you aren't getting relief from the percocet.

Maybe you could handle broth or jello water. If you were alot younger I'd suggest video games - it always worked for my son - got his mind off pain of hernia, tonsilectomy and extraction of 4 impacked wisdom teeth.

Everybody needs some babying - your daughter can practice on you to prepare for eventual "big baby" husband.

Are you sure this has anything to do with the drugs you are taking??!

Just kidding,

take the advice given above and call the doctor's office today and get something else for the pain.........before your wife gets home. She's been through her own trauma. I'm glad she's okay, the vehicle can be replaced/fixed.

"Hey, look what Kathy left us, bags and bags of leaves!!!" "Why didnt she spread them around?" "We don't need her.......we can do it by ourselves!"

Mahonri - Definitely call your doctor and get something else for the pain. Not all pain meds agree with all people. Thank goodness your wife is okay - I'm surprised the car can still be driven after hitting an elk!

Kathy - that picture is hilarious!
