Have I not told you enough about my family for you to know that even being sick wouldn't get me out of cooking and hosting? Why do I waste my breath with these stories?
I started on antibiotics as soon as I started getting the sore throat. All the dishes that could be made ahead of time are done and in the fridge. Just have to cook the beef tenderloins, make the rolls, and heat up the side dishes. Pies are baked or thawed as required. My house needs a good going over after the grandkid invasion but I can knock that out in the morning. I've got it under control. Michael is with his daughter tonight visiting his grandson so I had time to myself. I did a little, rested a little and repeated. I took two side dishes off the menu because my sister brought them to my folks today for Christmas Eve dinner. So it is just beef tenderloin with whiskey cream sauce, green beans almandine, your potato casserole and my squash roll, sweet potato pie, pecan pie, mincemeat pie, and cheesecake. Easy peasy.
Mary, still take care of yourself, take time for you.
It sounds like here at our house, and I am dealing with the sinus infection cold from hell~~~~
Scarey to bend over & tie the shoes as eyeballs are gonna pop out from pressure, but life goes on~~~
