47 degrees here right now. I can't complain about that. I will really enjoy Sunday and Monday in the 60s.

I am having a hard time navigating today. Can barely get around and it is taking forever. I have ordered a new computer, just because I needed to do that. Hopefully, that will help me get around on this site a bit easier.

I'm sorry/glad you are getting a new computer. Sorry about having to buy one, glad you will be staying on BYC!

Wish I was there - we are predicted to have snow tomorrow and Monday. Hubby gets Monday off and we will be snowed in, Bummer.

He's decide to make some goat play things. Our pasture is one big mud hole right now, so he said they needed some HUGE places where they can jump around, off the ground and have fun.

I reckon the chickens will like it too. Despite the fact of electric poultry netting, two hens have decided the goat barn is a great place to lay eggs. The amazing thing is that the goats haven't trodden on them - they step very gently around the nest.

My computer can handle the new BYC I think (don't know how to do anything). I really don't need to see all my private messages to the side. It's annoying and I don't know how to make them go away. Also loved the old Home page where you got right too the new posts, with no photos whizzing past, trying to lead you to other spots on the site.

I haven't participated much because it's alot more clicks than it used to be - , I don't understand what some icons etc. mean. I did watch the youtube tutoritorial but the video is so small, I can't tell what Rob is clicking or understand what it does. Maybe they can come up with "NEW BYC for dummies.", and have certified Dummies explaining NOT an expert trying to talk down to my level. No one could possibly get that low.I get frustrated and just go back to housework (ICK).

I seem to miss alot of new posts to Icelandic thread even tho I am supposed to be notified immediately. And replies I make often seem to vanish in thin air, even tho I do them the same way I am submitting this one. Wish they had made the big change before Xmas. My son was here and if I bribed or threatened him (whichever works best) he could have taught me some of the tricks. Well he comes back in May for a few days so maybe then...

Teaching us old chickens new tricks can be difficult!

but we'll get it eventually! One feature I like is to go to the top of the page and hover over the brown Forum tab. You will see a small upper bar (it's white with choices, first choice is forums, last choice is I've Posted. Choose the I've Posted button and it will list all the threads you've posted in. The box on the far left will let you know if there is a new post since the last time you visited it. Very convenient to find the threads you're used to being on.

Yes, Mary, I hate that about the smilies, too. I also dislike that every time we quote, the pictures show up again. With the pictures repeated over and over, it takes me forever to load the page. I am sure alot of the problem may be my old computer, but I don't have a problem on other sites I frequent. oh well......

Really, I am so tired of getting, "please wait," every time I do anything! It takes me forever to make a darn post. Sometimes it is better than others though..........

I am not getting my email notifications immediately, still..........
