Oddly enough, that statement fits so many aspects of living here. We don't get much sleep in winter because there is so much to do (and it all takes longer in the snow) and we don't sleep much in the summer because the sun is up so we can get so much more done![]()
Seriously tho, itis one tough mother of a race, I have so much respect for the select few that can get themselves through all the challenges the trail can throw at them. Odd # years they do one trail, even numbered they do another, slightly different path. Met a man in his 70's the other day, he finished a couple years ago but wants to do it again to take the other trail. In his 70's!
How do the dogs do? I know they are bred for it, but man, they must be tired too!
It's crazy, some of them still have spunk when they get to the finish line. There are some mandated rest stops and many vet checks along the way. Dog health is the #1 concern. It's like cattle horses or herding dogs, it's what they are bred for and what they love it.
It's possible. I know I love spending time in the nighttime quite of my goat barn.I wonder if Michelle is still out there?![]()
