Icelandic Chickens

WHOA!!! It had taken me awhile to read all the posts, over 200 posts. It was interesting to read the info about the genes and all that. It reminds me of me being born deaf out of normal hearing parents.

NotAFarm- Yes, its my very first nephew!!! Its a boy! We found out on Friday! :celebrate He is 20 weeks old now. But, unless God intervenes and fix his tiny heart, he will die before or after he is born. :hit I will not be able to hear him call me Uncle Daron. :hit We will appreciate prayers for the little guy.

This is his ultrasound image taken a few days ago. :love

This is my oldest brother and his wife. This was taken when they first found out that they are expecting him.

Mary- I got my Emu test results back from that DNA lab!!! I got a pair!!! Whoo hoo!!! The male's name is Griffin, and the female's name is Ann. I will post pictures of them soon.

Jake- Great news on becoming cancer free!!! When do you think that you will get the test results about your Icelandics?

Loved all the pictures!!! :thumbsup

I have a question about the DNA testing, how much does it cost to do a DNA test and what all does the test tell you, do you just send a blood sample or something? Sorry, guess that was more than a question!! Lynn

Kathy, I'm not familiar with the Sony line much - I use Canon. But if yours is set up kind of like mine, then there should be an option somewhere that filters out every color except for the one you select. I can't remember what it's called - need to find my one camera that I use it on a lot to look. On mine, it basically lets you point the lens at something, pick a color from what you're looking at, and then it turns everything the camera see to B&W, except for the color you picked. I'm going to try and find that camera now so I can see what the option was called.
