I sat and evaluated my flock today. I bought eggs from Sheriff Mary. The chicks are about 6 weeks old, and I can finally sex them (I'm TERRIBLE at sexing early). I have *drum roll* 5 roosters and 12 girls. Yay, me. Yay Mary. Yay Mary's old flock!

I like ALL the boys. Here are two I seriously considered, but didn't pick -

You can't see it, but his eyes are olive green. Also, he's bold and super sweet. He was riding around on my hand today. Calm as you please. His little feet were warm on my hand. I think I'm in love.
