I'd like to hatch them for Easter if I could. I'm in the middle of shuffling my breeding pens around but I can start collecting for you any time after valentines day if you wish.

Ok!I will plan on getting them to you for Easter, probably in separate mailings. That time frame works well for me too for your eggs.
Yesterday I moved my kids out to the barn with all the other chickens. They are in my brooder cage ( they got kicked out of the basement by my mother haha). Since it is still pretty chilly here (-3 to +8 this week) we insulated the outside of the whole cage, so it looks completely ridiculous but hopefully they will stay warm. I am hoping that being outside will help them grow feathers quicker ( pretty feathered out so far, and nice and plump) because i am sure the temps are going to get low again before feb. is over.Waiting for Brad, Janelle and any one else with chicks to post updated pictures!!![]()
Brad, what were the combs of the parents? My chick is developing a single comb (like all the parents have), but i know Icee's can have different kinds of combs
