Icelandic Chickens

We'd love to see pictures Jake!

I think my Del was born yellow. It is rounder in shape and has brighter orange/yellow legs than the Icelandics that hatched out the same color. I hope it'a a pullet!

Audun out with some of the hens.......

A pullet that is from Forsaela x Falki. She looks like she got her coloring from her father......

Her father, Falki (pic from last August)....

A cockerel from the same clutch. Looking more like his mother...

Falk is drop dead gorgeous !!!

I have a young cockeral that is looking like Audun, by Isi, I am really wondering about the colors that they are all going to have. Quite different most of them from last years.

When I grow up I want to learn how to use the cell phone, or maybe invest in a Brownie for some pics.

Mary does have a beautiful flock, she has worked hard on getting it that way.

I want to get the 'Blue' genes back into mine, have , maybe. one prospect developing, I am not at all sure how he is going to develop but it might be with some blue. Time will tell.

Jake, The combination of Sigrid's blue and Lyle's mottled has given me some very beautiful birds. This pullet, Grima (mask-so named for how she looked as a chick), hatched April 14, 2013, a full sibling to the two youngsters above, is an example of that combination.
