They use runner ducks for herding training.

Nope, that's my 2 1/2 year old male, when he was about 6 weeks. No new pups here until we breed Sunna next year.

Okay, I had to look up some stuff on these sheepdogs, and wow! Beautiful dogs. I like how some of them have that foxy look.

Btw, thank you to whoever posted the video on the duck herding (can't remember who, sorry). That was pretty fun to watch

Good Morning!
It is 43 F this morning and the sun is not up yet! I don't dislike fall, I just dislike the shortened days and the thought of winter.
Our neighbor, that has a herd of brood cows across the road, weaned calves yesterday.......I can't hear any crowing this morning because the mommas keep calling for their babies.

I took this pic yesterday, and if you look closely, you'll see one of Audun's sickle feather on the post. It is looking like an explosion in a pillow factory around here!

Heidi is still on the nest........looks like I'll try moving her to the broody coop tonight....
