Icelandic Chickens

Well I guess it's time to finally post in the thread I've been lurking in for a while. My name is Landon and I would like to thank other Mary on behalf of my whole family. Opening the boxes tonight and seeing the smile on my dad's face was something I'll never forget and will always be great full of Mary for. I will post pictures of our new flock leader Eldur with his gorgeous girlfriends Gaela and Glima tomorrow. I am excited to join this wonderful community here in the Icelandic thread and will keep everyone up to date. Thanks, Landon

I'm happy to help serious newbies to get the best start possible. We have to keep spreading the Icelandic breed to new, enthusiastic breeders so the breed not only survives but thrives!

Langdon, very nice to see you here. Hope you enjoy your icelandics - "other Mary," sure let you guys have some great ones.

I have no plans to get eggs or chicks back. I have a variety of Eldur's offspring, so, I'm happy that Landon and Jim are getting a good start for their flock. It is nice to know that if any disaster was to hit my flock, there would be some great stock not too far away.
